Summary/Objective
The Quality Controller – Floater is responsible for assisting where needed within the Eyewear
Quality control
department.
Essential Functions
Remove silver from scrap frames/parts
Assemble screw kits and manage screw inventory
QC frames when needed for shipments and returns
QC parts and wood temples
Assemble wood production
Assist in any capacity needed within the Quality Control, Returns and Repairs department – Eyewear
Maintain a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive routine
Maintain a clean and orderly work area and follow safety protocols
Qualifications
Some experience in eyewear preferred. Knowledge in frame assembly a plus
Experience working with your hands / assembling small parts / technically inclined
Candidates are expected to learn all responsibilities in an adequate time frame
Must be able to work well with others and have excellent communication skills
Ability to handle a physical workload
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Eager to take on responsibility with a personal sense of accountability
