Quality Control Inspector
Hultec S&B Technical Products, a family-owned business founded in 1981, specializes in pipe sealing systems and rubber products for pipelines in Spring, TX. With the largest market share in pipe seals in North America and a significant presence in Europe, S&B also offers specialty products for the oil and gas industry and corrosion protection systems. The company’s products are distributed in over 70 countries and are backed by a wealth of patents.
We are moving our business from Fort Worth, Texas to Spring, Texas. In this move we will be relocating our business and need talented candidates to join our team. We are looking for candidates that can travel to Fort Worth for two weeks (lodging and meals on us) and one week PAID 40 hours off to train with our current manufacturing staff.

We are looking for a responsible Quality Inspector to check the quality of all products on the press line. You will be a firm advocate of quality in our production. The ideal candidate will possess a trained eye for detail and will be reliable and committed. Knowledge and comprehension of quality is essential. The goal is to ensure that our products are made of flawless materials with well-functioning parts that meet our customers’ high standards.
Responsibilities
Approve or reject the product with respect to quality standards and select output samples and check them using appropriate methods (measuring dimensions, comparing to specifications etc.).
Use measuring tools such as pi tape, calipers, and various gauges to ensure correct dimensions.
Maintain records of testing, information and various metrics such as number of defective products per day etc. Prepare and submit reports to the quality manager.
Proven experience as quality inspector or relevant role.
A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach.
Responsible and trustworthy.
Familiarity with quality measurement tools.
1 year of Quality Control experience.
Education – High school or equivalent.
Adhere to ISO 9001.

Work Environment and Physical Demands
Exposure to manufacturing environment preferred.
Wear protective safety equipment.
May be exposed to possible shop hazards including heavy machinery, fumes, dust, heat and high pressure and temperatures.
Stooping, bending, walking and standing for the duration of work shift.
Comfortable standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks.
Must be able to lift at least 50lbs.
Manual Dexterity.
Follow all safety guidelines to ensure personal and team safety.
Must be able to travel to and from Fort Worth for the first four months (Travel Reimbursement will be provided).
