Position Summary
Aviation Graphix USA is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our team on-site. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience inspecting products within an AS9100-certified environment and a strong commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards in aerospace manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming materials, in-process work, and finished aircraft placards for conformance to engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements
- Perform dimensional, visual, and functional inspections using appropriate measurement tools and techniques
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records in accordance with AS9100 standards
- Identify, tag, and report nonconforming material; support root cause analysis and corrective action processes
- Maintain calibration records for inspection equipment
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve quality issues
- Support internal and external audits as needed
- Utilize Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) for reporting and documentation
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience working within an AS9100-certified quality system (required)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) required
- Experience with Net Inspect software a plus
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Work Environment
- This is a full-time, on-site position at our Aviation Graphix USA facility
- Standard manufacturing floor environment; requires standing, walking, and use of inspection tools/equipment
