Quality Control Inspector Jobs in Northridge, CA at Vision Aerospace LLC
Northridge, CA based AS9100 Certified Aerospace Defense Company/Machine Shop is seeking a highly motivated, energetic, and consistent Quality Control Inspector to join our growing team
We are a manufacturer of complex machined components in the Aerospace industry and have been in business for over forty-five years. The qualified candidate should have extensive experience with all aspects of 1st piece, in-process, and final inspections of a variety of machined components.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5 plus years – layout inspection experience using optical comparators, height gauges, sine plates, Sunnen gauges, etc.
- Receiving Inspection-Outside Processes.
- Knowledge of CMM/CMM Programming (preferred).
- Knowledge of Simple Track Software (preferred)
- A good knowledge of Shop Math and GD&T
- Familiar with calibration systems and techniques
- Experience working in aerospace manufacturing desired
- Intimate knowledge of AS9102, AS9100
- Extensive experience submitting FAI Paperwork(AS9102’s, PPAP, and Net Inspect Portal)
- Must have a high sense of urgency and the ability meet schedule requirements
Other Desirable skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills and proficient use of common quality methodologies such as process certification, PPAP, Six Sigma, and Root Cause analysis and corrective action
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment or independently
