Quality Control Inspector Jobs in San Jose, CA at Flowly Solutions
Gold Tech Industries urgently seeks a Quality Engineer to oversee product and production activities to ensure that products consistently meet specified customer, Gold Tech Industries, and legal requirements. This is a supervisory position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Includes but not limited to the following):
Commence and maintain communications with customers on timeframes, quality issues and corrective actions
Provide weekly and monthly reports for Nonconformances, and customer returns and maintain a closed-loop corrective actions program
Perform internal and external audits
Manage MRB Process in conjunction with production managers and supervisors for RMA disposition and Non-conforming material disposition
Working in conjunction with production personnel to respond to all customer’s corrective actions (SCARS)
Develops, implements, and monitors information systems controls to ensure data accuracy, security, regulatory compliance and team awareness.
Assist with quality programs to uphold & implement quality certifications (I.e. ISO 9001/ISO 13485)
Willing to be hands-on and assist with various other duties as needed
Knowledge & Skill Requirements:
Strong computer skills are required for reports, charts, data analysis and presentations.
Able to interpret blueprints using GD&T
Able to inspect parts using commonly used inspection tools is a plus
Highly refined communications skills required
Ability to conduct quality inspections using various hand tools
Education/Experience Requirements:
Requires a bachelor’s degree and minimum 3 years of experience in the field of engineering, project management or quality assurance
Minimum 3 years of experience being a Quality Inspector or similar experience
Experience with Manufacturing is required
Experience with Plating is a big plus (Copper, gold, silver, chrome, etc.)
Quality engineering experience, CQE certified is a plus!
Experience with failure analysis, RMA process, SPC development
Certified Auditor is a big plus!
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
Regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel and operate computer, phone and other tools as needed
Ability to reach with hand and arms
Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, speak and listen
Ability to lift to 30 lbs. as needed
