Quality Control Inspector Jobs in La Verne, CA at Express Employment Professionals
Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking experienced Quality Control Inspectors for a leading manufacturing company in La Verne, CA. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in plastic injection molding who are passionate about quality and precision. In this role, you will perform inspections throughout the manufacturing process to ensure products meet customer specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Pay Rate: $22.00–$25.00 per hour DOE
Available Shifts:
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
- 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Key Responsibilities
- Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) on plastic injection molded products and raw materials.
- Conduct receiving, in-process, and final inspections to ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
- Perform dimensional layouts and cosmetic inspections on finished products.
- Use precision measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, radius gauges, and height gauges, to verify product dimensions and tolerances.
- Conduct visual inspections to identify defects, inconsistencies, and product imperfections.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
- Perform random audit inspections throughout the manufacturing process.
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.
- Ensure inspection equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
- Identify and report non-conforming materials or products and assist with corrective actions.
- Follow all company quality standards, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Quality Control experience in a plastic injection molding manufacturing environment.
- Experience performing First Article Inspections (FAI), in-process inspections, and final inspections.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
- Proficient in using precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, radius gauges, and height gauges.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality standards and FDA regulations related to medical device manufacturing is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving and documentation skills.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Ability to lift up to 45 pounds.
