The Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis, the leading champion of empowerment and opportunity for African Americans and others throughout the region in securing economic self-reliance, social equality, and civil rights, is seeking a dynamic individual with a passion for helping others to join our Save Our Sons + Sisters team as a Quality Control Specialist at our Headquarters office.
This role focuses on evaluating program effectiveness, monitoring compliance with established procedures, and providing feedback for continuous improvement. The Quality Control Specialist will collaborate with leadership to maintain consistent quality across all sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Integrity & Analysis
Review and audit data entries in Apricot to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Analyze trends, identify service gaps, and highlight areas for improvement through regular evaluation of records.
Compliance Monitoring
Monitor adherence to internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements across all program locations.
Conduct audits of case files, reports, and documentation to maintain high standards of accuracy and integrity.
Process Improvement
Recommend and implement improvements to workflows, processes, and reporting tools to enhance program quality.
Collaborate with staff to address issues and best practices in quality assurance.
Training & Development
Assist in developing training materials and sessions to ensure staff compliance with program standards.
Conduct training audits to assess understanding and adherence to quality protocols.
Reporting & Feedback
Prepare detailed reports of findings and recommendations for the Regional Director.
Lead regular quality control meetings to discuss improvements and action plans.
The ideal candidate must have:
A bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control, compliance monitoring, or data management.
Experience with Apricot or similar case management systems.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Experience in workforce development or nonprofit programs.
Certification in Quality Control or Quality Assurance is a plus.
Knowledge of best practices in program evaluation and compliance.
