Education/Experience level:

· Bachelor’s Degree

· 2 years of experience in similar position preferred

Certifications (may be completed after hire):

· Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics (SCCE)

· Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP)

· Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM)

Skills:

· Must speak english, proficient in Microsoft office suite, good communication, email management, file storage and organization, leadership, punctual, attention to detail

Compliance Administration

o Assist in the re-registration process of products by state through the State Department of Agriculture

o Organization and management of product registrations by state

o Communication with state regulatory bodies regarding registration requirements of products

o Assist in process of fulfilling International Orders which includes the creation, delivery, management, and organization of documents such as certificate of analysis, certificate of composition, certificate of free sale, technical data sheets, and manufacturer affidavits for select international orders

o Registration and management of products with the ATF that have undenatured alcohol

o Management of FDA product registrations and compliance

o Management of NASC product registration and compliance

o Analyze regulatory inspection reports, form responses and create plans and/or processes to address compliance and quality issues

o Serve as the primary contact for FDA inspectors during site visits, ensuring readiness through staff training, internal audits, and compliance with regulatory standards

Research & Product Development

o Assist in the collection and organization of research articles related to current ingredients and/or new product development

o Assist in the research of ingredient substitution for international product formulations when necessary

o Participate in the sourcing, receiving, and analyzing of raw materials. If standards are met, approve for purchase or use.

o Communication with suppliers, vendors, and labs regarding the testing or verification of ingredients and/or products

o Maintenance of records and samples related to new product testing and product stability

Quality Control/Manufacturing

o Oversee and manage the Company’s Quality Assurance practices in a GMP compliant manner

o Assure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements.

o Implementing methods to inspect, test and evaluate products and production equipment

o Ensuring that products adhere to quality standards

o Preparing reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data

o Working according to deadlines for the delivery of products

o Provide employee training on GMP compliance related topics, policies and procedures.

o Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in quality system.

o Investigate customer complaints and nonconforming issues. Implement appropriate and effective corrective and preventive measure(s)

o Approve or reject raw materials, review certificate of analysis, labeling, and finished product based upon order specification

o Quarantine, report, and record product non-conformances

o Prepare, maintain, and understand quality documentation and inspection records

o Perform incoming inspection of components and raw materials

o Ensure that packaging components are safe for intended use

o Perform various tests and inspection of components, dietary supplements, packaging materials and labels to ensure specifications are met

o Prepare specimens for outgoing lab analysis or customer requirements

o Prepare and maintain inspection documentation

o Creation, maintenance, and storage of batch records for all in house formulations and private label formulations

o Maintain the records of product production, pre-production machine check, and post-production product audit

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour
