Description:
Duties:
Performs incoming material inspection according to established standards
Ensure material has proper documentation (Dimension Reports/MTRs)
Measure dimensions of products to verify conformance to specifications using measuring instruments such as rulers, caliper gages, or micrometers
Assist in preparing NCRs and maintaining NCR log
Maintains positive and professional interaction between the quality and production teams
Adheres to all company quality and safety policies and maintains a clean work environment
Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Experience:
1-3 years’ experience in QC inspection of weldments and fabricated components required
Experience in receiving inspection of raw material, flame/plasma cut, water jet, and machined components required
Experience in subsea oil and gas QC inspection a plus
Must be knowledgeable in the use of QC instruments and gages
Must be able to read drawings, and have knowledge of tolerances
Must possess basic computer skills, including use of Microsoft Office
Must be able to maintain excellent communication with all levels of personnel
Must be able to maintain a high level of frequency and intensity in physical activities such as: reaching, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, and crouching
Must be able to work overtime when required
Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment requiring exceptional attention to detail
