HOURS
1st shift: Monday – Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Visually inspect and/or test all materials shipped into the facility to determine if material meets specifications and standards
Audit processes to ensure quality standards and defect ranges (panoplies) are being met.
Document audits and maintain appropriate records
Process off-specification material as directed
Effectively work and communicate with others in the organization and customers
Inform Inbound Supervisor of major and critical defects found during inspections
Verifies corrective action is taken to resolve defects
Participate in location inventories
Other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
Previous quality assurance role
Capable of basic math calculations
Able to read and interpret specifications and drawings
Able to use standard measuring equipment
General knowledge of computers
Able to lift, stand or walk constantly all shift as needed
Able to lift up to 50 pounds and not allergic to latex gloves
