Quality Control Inspector Jobs in Louisville, KY at Louisville Bedding Company
We currently have an opening for a Quality Auditor from 6am- 6pm Wednesday-Friday.
The Quality Auditor will inspect and test products to ensure conformance with product specifications, established quality standards and FR regulations.
Position Responsibilities:
- Work cross functionally with all production departments.
- Visually inspect all products for defects and adherence to specifications.
- Perform in-process quality audits on a continuous basis to ensure product meets all specifications
- Use a tablet computer to record all test data
- Check and record all machine settings according to audit schedule
- Audit multiple production areas according to the work schedule in a timely fashion.
- Ensure that defective products are pulled from production stream and placed on quality hold.
- Work overtime as needed, including some weekends.
- Work in a safe fashion following all established safety procedures and policy throughout the facility.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Follow, implement and support company EEO policies.
Prior Experience
2 or more years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
1 or more years’ experience as an auditor or inspector
Experience in a textile related field is a plus
Demonstrated success at balancing multiple projects and details simultaneously
