Duties
Offer support and resources to Quality team
Collect and analyze data for root cause and corrective action activities
Customer and supplier contact related to quality issues (containment, response, corrective action)
Ensure that non-conforming products are properly identified, quarantined, and disposed of
Compile performance data and report departmental results
Provide technical support for production and office staff
Perform product audits as required to ensure compliance with customer requirements
Participate in internal audit system (process audits, layered audits, product audits) as required
Perform technical writing of work instructions, reports, and standard operating procedures
Experience
Experience in manufacturing environment, with hands-on focus in Quality tasks
Familiarity with ISO-9001 quality system requirements
Familiarity with the following: SPC, Pareto analysis, Cpk studies, 8D root cause analysis
Understanding of Control Plans, PFMEA, and Gage R & R as required
Experience with blueprint reading and GD & T
Very detail-oriented
Excellent computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, databases)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong with numbers and statistics
