Position Summary: The Quality Inspector position is responsible for the inspection of finished goods, parts manufactured, and received at BPI.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
- Perform inspection on Bergara barrels and rifle components, in-process rifles, and finished goods and provide the Quality Manager with all inspection reports.
- Interpret dimensions and tolerances from blueprints
- Deliver inspected components to proper departments.
- Set up & operate CMM, optical comparator, and hardness tester.
- Manual hard check components using calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.
- Verifies serial numbers on serialized parts.
- Complete all paperwork required to ship with finished parts.
- Perform other related duties and tasks as necessary or as assigned.
