Job Summary
Quality Control Inspector needed to use a variety of skills and industry knowledge to ensure products meet consistent standards and ensure completeness of quality check list execution. Duties include examining shipments of inventory (finished goods), measuring the specifications of in each shipment and ensure product meet and exceed defined quality standard including:
· In-depth understanding of company standards
· Keen attention to detail
· Managing pre-delivery control/assessment to ensure all units meet or exceed quality standard
· Working according to deadlines for the delivery of products
· Performing detailed check list and recorded inspections of final products so that products are up to industry and company standards before delivery.
· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills and, good verbal communication skills
- Basic computer and math skills to calibrate and measure specifications
- Up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and best practices
- Understanding of automotive QA requirements and consumer needs
- Teamwork and collaboration
- Comfortable standing or walking for long periods of time
Requirements:
At least 5 years of related quality control inspection experience with good experience and proficient with automotive quality control.
High School graduate or related training/certification preferred.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out control and inspection- detailed written or oral instructions.
Ability to deal with standardized situations with occasional variable circumstances.
Physical Requirements:
Employees in this position must be able to regularly lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and heavier loads with assistance; the majority of time is spent standing and walking. You must have the ability to climb, bend, squat, reach, grasps and lift
Able to tolerate extreme local temperatures.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 – $30.00 per hour
