Title: Quality Control Inspector

Responsibilities:
Lead a team of QC inspectors in carrying out the quality control functions in APC plant.
Provide technical assistance & supervision to the QA/QC personnel.
Directs manufacturing’s quality control activities such as receiving/incoming materials inspection, in-process products inspection, finished products testing &inspection of repair services to ensure compliance to all technical specifications.
Ensure all documentations are correctly prepared before any inspection taking place.
Directs day-to-day activities to ensure compliance with stipulated policies and procedures
Conduct& participate in supplier prequalification audit as well as regular routine audits.
Ensure the verification of documentation and supplier’s material certificates for all incoming parts.
Manage all calibration requirements for inspection tools and instruments,
Initiate, recommend and implement quality improvements programs when required.
Compile and provide quality statistic to QA.
Attend as required client quality management meetings.
Qualifications & Skills:
7+years Quality Control experience in Receiving Inspection is preferred Previous Oil and Gas downstream processes’ experience.
Must have good English written and verbal communication skills.
Good arithmetic skills are required
Mechanical aptitude desired
Must be able to use measuring instruments & tools.
General proficiency of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
University degree preferable in mechanical Engineering
