Quality Control Inspector
$17.00 – $25.00 per hour
Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
Winona, MN | Full-Time
Join a manufacturing team where quality is a top priority. In this role, you will inspect products throughout the production process, verify specifications, review documentation, and help ensure products meet established quality standards.
Previous experience working in a dedicated Quality department is required. This is not a production role where employees inspect their own work. Candidates must have held a Quality-related title and be comfortable working independently in a quality-focused environment.
What You’ll Do
- Read and interpret drawings, schedules, inspection plans, and control charts
- Validate quality documentation and inspection records
- Test products for dimensional, mechanical, and performance requirements
- Use precision measuring equipment such as calipers and micrometers
- Audit manufacturing operations to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Recommend improvements to quality and production standards
- Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives by participating in Kaizen activities
What Will Help You Succeed
- Previous experience in a Quality Control, Quality Assurance, or Quality Inspector role required
- Manufacturing experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and quality documentation
- Experience using computers for documentation and recordkeeping
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment
- High School Diploma or GED
