Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of in-process components, and finished goods using precision measuring instruments such as snap gauges, calipers, and micrometers.
- Perform dimensional measurements and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing analysis to verify product specifications align with engineering blueprints and manufacturing standards.
- Utilize vision inspection systems and other advanced quality inspection tools to identify defects or deviations from quality standards in production.
- Execute regular quality audits in accordance with ISO 9001, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) to ensure compliance across all processes.
- Interpret manufacturing documentation, including production records, to accurately assess product conformity.
- Collect data during inspections to support root cause analysis, trend identification, and continuous improvement initiatives within the quality management system.
- Collaborate with production teams to address non-conformances promptly while maintaining regulatory/legal compliance standards in production environments.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance within a manufacturing setting, with a strong understanding of quality systems such as QA/QC protocols.
- Proficiency with measurement instruments including snap gauges, calipers and micrometers, and vision systems.
- Familiarity with ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 13485), GMP practices, and regulatory/legal compliance standards relevant to manufacturing industries.
- Strong analysis skills with the ability to perform detailed data collection and report findings effectively.
- Basic math skills essential for dimensional measurements and calculations involved in quality assessments.
- Experience with calibration procedures for measuring instruments and conducting quality audits is highly desirable.

Pay: $15.00 – $16.00 per hour
