CFA Institute is looking for a Specialist, Quality Review to lead quality assurance efforts for digital learning materials, including Canvas courses, PDFs, and eBooks.
This position within the Quality Review team requires a mix of technical expertise, attention to detail, and strong communication skills. You’ll collaborate with production teams, troubleshoot issues, and help shape efficient quality assurance processes. The role, reporting to the Senior Manager, Content Operations, is eligible for remote working (must be in an approved area in the Eastern Time Zone).
Key Responsibilities
Conduct detailed quality reviews of digital educational content, ensuring accuracy and compliance with CFA Institute standards.
Apply HTML proficiency to troubleshoot and resolve content formatting and production issues.
Manage and prioritize quality review workflows, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality.
Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring clear communication and identifying risks early.
Identify and propose process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance efficiency.
Work within Learning Management Systems (LMS), particularly Canvas, to review and maintain digital course content.

What You Bring
Proficiency in HTML and experience troubleshooting production-related issues.
Quality assurance (QA) experience, ideally within publishing, education, or digital content development.
Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS), Canvas, is a major plus.
Industry-specific knowledge (publishing, educational content, or digital production) is preferred.
Strong project coordination skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across teams to align expectations.

At CFA Institute, we are committed to transparency and equity in our hiring process. In compliance with wage transparency laws in many of the jurisdictions in which we recruit, we provide the following information regarding compensation for this position:
Expected salary Range: 60,000-70,000 USD per year.
Other benefits include eligibility for annual incentives, 12%/ 401K pension employer contribution, and competitive medical benefits.
