Overview
The primary functions include performing visual and dimensional inspections on products to ensure compliance with customer requirements, print specifications and D1.1 standards
Key Accountabilities:
Be able to stand and walk for 10+ hours a day.
Inspects various parts-completed or in process
Record and maintain records
Basic knowledge of drawings
Able to read a tape measure and have basic math skills
Understanding and knowledge of production/manufacturing inspection process
Understands and meets quality standards and seeks to minimize reject rate
Time management and multitasking
Works overtime as necessary.
Other duties as assigned
Education and/or experience:
At least 1year in fabrication or quality control position.
Skills:
Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions
Ability to effectively present information in one on one and small group situations to other employees.
Effectively gives and receives feedback; willing to ask questions and seeks to improve their own skills and knowledge.
Mathematical skills:
Ability to add, subtract multiply and divide in all unites of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Read a tape measure
Hourly compensation will be based experience
