JOB DESCRIPTION
The Quality Control inspector will be responsible for examining functionality and quality of the finished product before it is shipped to the customer and the application of identifying labels.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Measurements
Soldering
Use of hand tools for Drilling, Sanding, and other
Use of Miter Saw for cutting Aluminum to specified lengths
Testing of LED light fixtures
Cross training on fixture assembly, as needed
Produces assigned products in accordance with verbal and written instructions.
Strict adherence to company procedures and practices
Performs other related duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Attention to detail and good time management skills
Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet targeted deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with personnel at all levels in a team environment.
Basic knowledge and understanding of computers is a plus but not required
Must be proactive, results oriented, and have strong attention to detail.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Continually required to stand for long periods of time
Continually required to walk
Continually required to talk or hear
Continually exposure to extreme heat or cold
Continually work near moving mechanical parts
Occasionally lift and /or move more than 50 pounds
Specific vision abilities required by this job include: Close vision; Color vision; Depth perception and ability to adjust focus
WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud
Typically work in a climate-controlled warehouse environment
