Position Overview:
The Quality Technician will play a critical role in ensuring that all products meet the highest quality standards and comply with food safety regulations. This position conducts quality control inspections on product and is a constant Quality representative on the production floor.
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday, 10:30pm-7:00am
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Remove non-conforming products from designated location
- Perform pre-operational inspections as needed
- Complete foreign material audits
- Alert Production Leads to frequencies of non-conforming material
- Ensure production is following all production guides
- Monitor GMP compliance of employees and make corrections when necessary
- Communicate all major food safety and quality issues to Quality Managers or above
- Other duties as needed
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and quality management systems
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficient in using quality measurement tools
Qualifications
- High school diploma
- At least 1 year working as a Quality in a food manufacturing environment
Physical Environment:
This position is in a manufacturing facility and involves standing, lifting, bending and walking for extended periods throughout the day.

Pay: $18.40 – $18.90 per hour
