Quality Control Inspector Jobs in Charlottesville, VA at Wallace Montgomery
We are a family owned company looking for a qualified individual to assist us in our quality control department and SQF Food Safety Program. We need eyes and ears on the ground continually monitoring our products, employees and efficiency.
We manufacture specialty coated food grade papers and have to keep tight tabs on our quality, organization and cleanliness, as well as our third party audit(SQF) and food safety program needs.
This person must be able to communicate clearly, confidently and directly with employees.
Duties:
Perform routine raw and finished material quality checks
Maintain/Populate Non Conformance Reports
Employee GMP Compliance Oversight
SQF Implementation Oversight and Paperwork Assistance
Verify all maintenance and cleaning programs are being followed
Help ensure work orders are completed efficiently
Report employee downtime
Help maintain inventory counts and organization
Help OSHA Oversights
Check and approve quality of products (size, weight, etc…)

Punctuality and a strong attendance record is a must
