Our growing company is looking for a full-time Inspector:
Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inspector to inspect and document finished and in process parts. The Inspector is responsible for ensuring that components, assemblies, and systems meet rigorous quality and safety standards in compliance with industry regulations and company specifications. This role involves performing detailed inspections, interpreting technical drawings, documenting findings, and working collaboratively with engineering and manufacturing teams to maintain the highest levels of product integrity and compliance. We are accepting applications from all experience levels.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct inspections on incoming materials, in-process components, and finished aerospace products using precision measuring instruments
Perform dimensional inspections using tools such as calipers, micrometers, CMMs, borescopes, and gauges
Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of non-conformities, deviations, and corrective actions
· Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues and recommend process improvements
· Assist with root cause analysis and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
· Support audits and certification processes by regulatory agencies and customers
Desired Skills or Learning Opportunities:
Proficient in using gauges such as calipers, micrometers
Experience with using a CMM is a plus
Capable of reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
Strong knowledge of inspection tools and techniques
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and documentation skills
