Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Quality Control Inspector specializing in Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) inspections to ensure the highest standards of product quality and compliance. In this role, you will utilize advanced measurement tools and systems to perform precise inspections, analyze data, and uphold rigorous quality management protocols. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining our commitment to excellence in manufacturing processes, adhering to industry standards such as ISO 13485, ISO 9001, and regulatory requirements including FDA regulations. Duties
- Conduct detailed inspections of manufactured parts and assemblies using CMM equipment, calipers, micrometers, vision inspection systems, and other precision measuring instruments
- Operate and calibrate coordinate measuring machines to verify dimensional accuracy and geometric tolerances
- Collect and analyze measurement data, documenting findings accurately for quality records and reporting purposes
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to identify root causes of non-conformities and recommend corrective actions
- Support quality management systems by maintaining inspection reports, calibration logs, and compliance documentation
- Participate in internal and external quality audits to ensure adherence to FDA regulations and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating CMM equipment within a manufacturing or quality control environment
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-3 years’ experience.
- Proficient in using inspection hand tools, such as micrometers and calipers.
- Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and blueprint reading.
- Knowledge of quality control principles and practices.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and exhibit a high send of urgency.
- This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by C.F.R §120.15 is required.
