Quality Control Inspector (Construction)
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector to ensure construction projects meet company, client, and regulatory quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and carpentry, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to identify and resolve quality issues throughout all phases of construction.
Responsibilities
- Inspect construction work to ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Conduct routine site inspections and document findings.
- Verify materials, workmanship, and completed work meet required standards.
- Identify defects, deficiencies, and non-conforming work and recommend corrective actions.
- Review blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure work is performed correctly.
- Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and construction crews to maintain quality expectations.
- Maintain detailed inspection reports, quality records, and project documentation.
- Monitor carpentry work, framing, finishing, and other construction-related activities for quality compliance.
- Participate in project meetings and provide quality-related updates.
- Ensure all work is completed according to company and client requirements.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction quality control experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
- Must have construction and/or carpentry experience.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in documenting inspections and preparing reports.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- Experience in commercial, residential, or industrial construction environments.
- OSHA certification or other construction-related certification a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, and inspect active construction sites.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when required.
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Pay: $18-20 DOE
Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday 7-3:30pm
Will provide all training .
Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
