About The Role We are currently recruiting for qualified and experienced Quality Control CWB Level 1 Inspectors to join our team on projects in the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo (Fort McMurray, AB).

  • What We Offer Competitive hourly rate, negotiable, based on experience Weekly Pay Eligible for annual bonus based on company performance 100% employer-paid drugs, travel, life & dependent life insurance, and AD&D Long-term disability $7000 flex credit account per year (can roll into a health care spending account and/or RRSP) Paid vacation Cell phone allowance or company-provided cell phone Company provided IT assets What You Will Be Doing Perform visual testing (VT) on welds and flag any defects Monitoring welding activities Material receiving inspection Maintaining welder qualification records Maintain weld & bolt up mapping Redline mark-ups, and document control Develop and maintain quality logs, and turnover documentation Assisting with NDT coordination Assist and support quality control lead on all quality and turn over activities

    What We Are Looking For 2+ years of progressive experience on industrial projects as a CWB Level 1 Industrial trade credential is an asset Knowledge of ASME and CSA codes related to welding and pressure piping Proficiency using Bluebeam, Google Suite and MS Office applications Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in record-keeping Ability to work independently and in a team environment with multiple priorities Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear reporting and collaboration Commitment to maintaining a safe, clean work environment Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test Must be legally eligible to work in Canada Why Work With Us Strong leadership that supports employees Opportunities for advancement Diverse projects Team-oriented culture Respectful workplace Safety is our top priority – we are committed to providing a safe work environment.
