As a Control Systems & Validation Engineer, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the integrity, reliability, and safety of our products—critical to the nuclear and manufacturing industries. Responsibilities:
Testing & Validation:
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for mechanical and electrical components used in nuclear and industrial applications.
Utilize cutting-edge measurement and test equipment (M&TE) to ensure precision and reliability.
Design, construct, and implement specialized test stands to support rigorous validation and performance testing across various product lines, ensuring compliance with nuclear and industrial quality standards.

Electrical & Control Systems:
Conducting functional and diagnostic testing, verifying proper operation of motors, solenoids, sensors, and control circuits.
Reviewing and troubleshooting control logic, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics to identify faults and ensure compliance with design specifications.
Utilizing PLCs, HMIs, and data acquisition systems to monitor and validated actuator responses in various conditions.

System Integration & Process Optimization:
Developing and refining test procedures to improve efficiency, accuracy, and repeatability of testing.
Utilizing data analytics and statistical methods to identify trends, reduce variation, and enhance test stand performance.

Compliance & Deficiency Management:
Interpret and apply requirements from industry standards.
Investigate and resolve non-conformance issues, ensuring traceability and compliance with nuclear-grade expectations.
Develop and revise Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) to align with customer and regulatory demands.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation:
Champion a culture of ownership and excellence by integrating quality into every stage of production.
Leverage statistical methods and process control techniques to enhance product performance.
Drive quality initiatives that align with innovation, integrity, and safety—core values of our organization.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in an applicable Engineering field (Mechatronics or Mechanical with Electrical experience) and 5-7 year of relevant experience.
This position requires access to onsite locations managing government information, which contains Not Releasable to Foreign Nationals (NOFORN) data. Therefore, to meet NOFORN requirements, you will have to provide proof of US Citizenship and attest that you do not have dual citizenship .

Preferred Experience / Skills:
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documents (electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, technical manuals, etc.).
Strong organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
