Role Description
Promation is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector – Level 1 to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the highest standards of quality across assigned projects. Reporting directly to the Quality Control Supervisor, you will be responsible for performing all quality control activities associated with your designated tasks.
Your primary focus will be to uphold and enforce the standards outlined in Promation’s Quality Control Program, ensuring compliance with all relevant protocols and governance. This position demands a high level of precision, accountability, and commitment to excellence, as you contribute to delivering safe and reliable solutions to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting in Metrology dimensional inspections.
Specifying appropriate quality programs for procurement of items and services
Developing Manufacturing, Inspection & Test Plan (MITP) / Inspection and Test Checklists (ITC’s);
Receiving, in-process and final inspections per MITP / ITC requirements including:
Acceptance of raw materials
Acceptance of special process results such as NDE, heat treatment, surface coating, welding etc.
Supervise/Witnessing testing (FAT, ATP etc.)
Basic dimensional inspections
Performing Source Surveillance on suppliers
Monitoring procurement activities for QA compliance
Initiating and following up on Nonconformance and Corrective action reports
Preparation of History Files
Processing/authenticating/acceptance of quality records
Provide training/guidance to employees and suppliers on QA policies and expectations.

Qualifications
2-5 years related experience in equivalent inspection / testing activities (Experience in Manufacturing sector preferred)
Ability to interpret customer prints, technical specifications, and quality assurance standards.
Highly organized and adept at multitasking, with a keen attention to detail and a focus on delivering quality results efficiently.
