Overview:

This position reports directly to the Supply Chain Manager and is ideal for individuals with strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to quality and compliance in a regulated environment. As a key player in our operations, you will contribute to the success of our cannabis facility by ensuring accurate inventory management while integrating quality control checks into each stage of product handling—from intake and storage to internal transfers and order preparation.

Responsibilities:

Inventory Management & Quality Control:

  • Use inventory software to track and manage cannabis products with accuracy.
  • Perform regular cycle counts and spot checks to verify consistency across systems and physical stock.
  • Inspect products for quality, damage, or discrepancies during intake, transfers, and staging.
  • Maintain best practices for labeling, storage, product rotation (FIFO), and cleanliness.
  • Flag and document any issues related to product condition, packaging, or labeling.
  • Support internal audits and prepare documentation for regulatory compliance.

Compliance:

  • Stay current on cannabis regulations and ensure compliance at all inventory touchpoints.
  • Uphold strict adherence to company SOPs and quality standards.
  • Assist in preparing for and participating in regulatory inspections.

Data Entry & Systems:

  • Maintain accurate and timely records in tracking systems (Metrc and internal platforms).
  • Ensure all inventory movements are properly logged and reconciled.
  • Support implementation of process improvements that enhance QC and inventory accuracy.

Technology Support:

  • Utilize inventory software and support team members in its proper use.
  • Help troubleshoot discrepancies between digital systems and physical product.

Collaboration:

  • Coordinate with cultivation, production, and distribution teams to ensure inventory processes align with operational needs.
  • Communicate clearly with supervisors and teammates to resolve QC concerns.
  • Participate in identifying and implementing best practices for maintaining product integrity.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1+ year experience in a Quality Control position in a manufacturing environment
  • 1+ year experience with inventory management
  • Proficiency in Metrc and familiarity with POS systems (Dutchie/Leaf Logix preferred).
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with cannabis regulations and regulatory documentation.
  • Proficiency with Google Suite for tracking, documentation, and team collaboration.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
