What you’ll do
Complies with all Safety, Health, and Environmental rules, procedures, and regulations.
Conducts all laboratory work in a safe manner including the use of proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), adherence to the site safety practices, use of lab equipment, 5S, etc.
Performs all work in strict adherence to QC standard laboratory procedures (SLPs).
Reviews and provides recommended improvements to QC standard laboratory procedures (SLPs).
Inspects and tests incoming raw materials, semi-finished goods, and finished goods according to defined instructions, procedures, and methods.
Executes lab testing and generates test data, documentation, and lab reports.
Provides support for projects assigned by Engineers and/or Supervisors.
Takes on equipment ownership and is responsible for maintaining safe operation of the assigned equipment.
Reports lab results and methods according to accepted company lab practices; results, reports, and observations will be communicated to internal/external customers.
Maintains lab equipment in proper working order and performs verifications.
Troubleshoots instrumentation failures.
Participates in measuring system analysis testing, customer and regulatory audits, and continuous improvement efforts.
