Job Details
- 8+ years experience of working in QC laboratory workflows, processes and validations
- The Laboratory QC Manager is responsible for overseeing all quality control laboratory activities to ensure products, materials, and processes comply with applicable regulatory, customer, and company quality standards. The role manages laboratory personnel, analytical testing programs, quality systems, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with GMP, GLP, ISO, and other relevant regulations.
- Key Responsibilities include:
- Quality Control Management
- Lead and manage day-to-day QC laboratory operations.
- Ensure timely testing and release of raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, and stability samples.
- Review and approve laboratory test results, reports, specifications, and certificates of analysis.
- Ensure laboratory compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and internal quality standards.
- Laboratory Operations
- Manage laboratory resources, equipment, and staffing.
- Develop testing schedules and prioritize workload to meet production and business requirements.
- Ensure proper calibration, qualification, and maintenance of laboratory instruments.
- Quality Systems & Compliance
- Maintain compliance with GMP, GLP, ISO 17025, ISO 9001, or industry-specific quality standards.
- Lead investigations related to OOS (Out-of-Specification), OOT (Out-of-Trend), deviations, and non-conformances.
- Review and approve CAPAs (Corrective and Preventive Actions).
- Support internal, customer, and regulatory audits and inspections.
- Method Development & Validation
- Support analytical method development, transfer, verification, and validation activities.
- Review and approve validation protocols and reports.
- Ensure laboratory methods remain current with regulatory and industry expectations.
- Review laboratory records, SOPs, specifications, and quality documents.
