Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end project management for QC lab digitization initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including R&D, IT, Quality Assurance, and external consultants to define clear project objectives and deliverables.
  • Oversee the implementation and seamless integration of Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and other digital tools to optimize laboratory workflows.
  • Conduct comprehensive risk analysis, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure all projects comply with regulatory standards.
  • Prepare detailed budget estimates, monitor expenditures, and optimize resource allocation to maximize project return on investment (ROI).
  • Provide expert project management consulting, guiding teams on best practices, process improvements, and change management related to digital transformation.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, status reports, and presentations for senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Mentor and lead project teams fostering a collaborative and innovative environment focused on continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 6 to 10 years of progressive experience in project management, specifically within QC laboratory digitalization or pharmaceutical/biotech environments.
  • Proven expertise in implementing and managing LIMS and other laboratory digitalization platforms.
  • Strong background in project management consulting with demonstrated success in leading complex digital transformation projects.
  • Proficient in budget estimating, financial oversight, and resource planning.
  • Solid experience in conducting risk analysis and developing effective mitigation plans.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) (e.g., LabWare, STARLIMS, Thermo Fischer SampleManager)
  • Project management software such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, or Asana
