What you’ll do
- Make batch adjustments following established procedures and guidelines.
- Test raw materials using standardized methods; conduct gage R & R studies; handle additional assigned lab functions.
- Analyze complex numerical data; recognize trends; adjust color based on those trends.
- Use Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) to document and report results.
Qualifications
- Strong math aptitude and exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work 1st shift immediately.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated capability to analyze and interpret complex numerical data.
- Color vision with shade discrimination.
- Proficiency with computers using Windows Operating Systems, Lotus Notes, and Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
Preferred skills
- Hands-on experience with color analysis and color adjustment.
- Accuracy, strong attention to detail, and sound decision-making.
- Ability to partner closely with the shift supervisor.
- Excellent attendance and reliability; willingness to work overtime to meet business demand.
- Capability to work independently without close supervision.
Education & experience
- Associate degree (2-year) in a science field; or 1–3 years of related color experience/training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
