Location: Unorganized Territory of Camp Lejeune
Position Summary:
Person will be responsible for taking full control of CQC plan for Sauer on a project in Camp Lejeune, NC. The candidate will be responsible for overall management of the CQC plan and having full authority to act in all QC matters.
Essential Functions:
– Capable of coordinating with many Subcontractors
– Efficient/Able to plan days, weeks in advance
– Detail driven
– Skillful communicator with client/subcontractors
– Able to conduct QCM weekly meeting in a highly professional manner and instill confidence in client in the QC operations
– Perform/coordinate inspections
– Upload and manage QC data on a daily basis
– Perform submittal review functions
– Proficient completing required daily documentation
Qualifications:
– Candidate must have 10 years of combined experience as a Superintendent, Project Manager, Project Engineer and at least 3 years’ experience as a QC Manager or degree in Construction Management, engineering with 5 years construction experience and 2 years QCM relative experience.
– Certificate for “Construction Quality Management for Contractors” from USACE
– 30 Hour OSHA in construction
– Excellent knowledge of
quality control
inspection standards, procedures and applicable codes required
– Strong verbal and written
communication skills
