Monday–Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
$65,000 – $80,000 per year based on experience | Full-Time (40 hours/week)

Position Summary
Valaurum is growing rapidly, and we are looking to hire a Quality Control Manager to work with our Quality Control Fulfillment Department to manage the quality control of finished goods. Our ideal candidate will have experience in high volume inventory tracking as well as with excellent attention to detail. The Quality Control Manager under the direction of the Director of Production to ensure that all details are organized, quality standards are maintained, incoming material is recorded, and collaborative root cause analysis is performed. This is a supervisory position.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides support, clear communication, and prioritization of workflow for internal team during Quality Control and analysis are performed timely
- Track, maintain and internally communicate project progress through Quality Control to meet delivery deadlines
- Responsible for day-to-day management of organization for all finished goods materials
- Manage workflow for Quality control and Fulfillment processes
- Escalate reporting of all failed results to the Director of Production
- Follow process workflow documents and checklists
- Uphold and review QC standards for Quality control staff
- Develop performance metrics and SOPs for QC metallization
- Develop process for root cause analysis
- Work Order tracking and completion
- Update monthly departmental Ins and Outs Document
- Maintain departmental inventory organization
- Suggest workflow and process improvements
- Manage shipping and receiving workflow
Required Qualifications
- Experience managing cross-functional teams
- Able to manage multiple projects and deliverables at a given time
- Experience with project management software (Basecamp or similar)
- Highly proficient with Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Proficiency with inventory management
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Advanced problem solving and analytical skills
- Can work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Due to nature of product, background check required
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in Quality Control in manufacturing
- Background in Print production quality control
- Experience with highly delicate material processes
Work Environment
- Manufacturing facility with quality control duties primarily in an office setting
- Exposure to airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration
- Moderate noise level (hearing protection not required)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend throughout the shift
- Frequently lift or move items up to 50 pounds
- Visual acuity including close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
