Job Overview
The Quality Control Manager leads the company’s quality control activities and ensures products meet customer, drawing, and quality-system requirements. This position manages inspection personnel, quality records, nonconforming material, calibration, laboratory operations, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily quality control and inspection activities.
- Manage and develop QC inspectors and laboratory personnel.
- Maintain the company’s quality management system and controlled documents.
- Ensure current drawings, specifications, and inspection instructions are used.
- Oversee incoming, in-process, final, and first article inspections.
- Manage nonconformance, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Maintain calibration, equipment, training, and inspection records.
- Support customer, internal, and third-party audits.
- Monitor quality performance and recommend process improvements.
- Coordinate NDT activities with the company’s designated Level III.
- Ensure only qualified and authorized personnel perform controlled inspections.
- Work with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Management to resolve quality issues.
Authority
The Quality Control Manager has authority to stop production, place product on quality hold, reject unapproved documents, and prevent shipment when product conformity or traceability is at risk.
Required Qualifications
- Five or more years of manufacturing quality experience.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of inspection, drawings, quality records, calibration, and corrective-action systems.
- Experience with ISO 9001 or a comparable quality management system.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic business systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in metal fabrication, welding, structural products, automotive, or industrial manufacturing.
- Experience with metrology, laboratory testing, first article inspection, or NDT programs.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- Quality, auditing, welding, or NDT certification.
- English and Mandarin communication skills are beneficial.

Pay: $90,000.00 – $105,000.00 per year
