Quality Control Manager needed in Alvarado, TX.
Must have at least 2 years of experience as a QC manager
Maintain all required NPCA, ACI,
Strong math skills
understand “cost of quality”
Team player
Ensure safety trainings are attended, and certifications are maintained
Responsible for all pre and post inspections and documentation
Ensure the plant achieves successful annual audits, and positively address any non-conformances
Daily testing of product (specimen testing, air content, slump, MC% of aggregates, temperature compressive strength testing) to ensure requires specifications are met as needed and report out any deviations.
Assist and perform monthly and annual material testing and calibrations, ensuring calibration schedule and records for all equipment and materials used in quality processes.
Maintain through knowledge of precast processes and equipment, best practices.
Communicate issues identifies in the production floor, and offer suggestions to fix
Communicates with all key personnel regarding product inspection status, junk, etc.
Mon
– Fri, some Saturdays
4/5am til finish
Pay depends on experience.
