POSITION: Quality Engineer
CATEGORY: Exempt
JOB FUNCTION: Quality Engineer’s responsibilities include designing quality standards, inspecting materials, equipment, processes, and products, developing quality control systems, and determining corrective actions, Also, work with managers and supervisors to implement quality measures. Monitor, control, and analyzes product and process quality to meet internal and customer requirement.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
4 years of high school completion, or equivalent
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
EXPERIENCE: Minimum 1 year of experience in job related area
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge in ISO quality system, SPC, and problem solving skill
Proactive and able to work well independently as well as in a team environment
Work well with cross functional teams
Strong ownership and organization skills
Ability to work confidently in a rapidly changing, fast-paced and results-oriented corporate environment where a high degree of flexibility is required
Bilingual (English & Chinese) preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensures adherence to company quality standards and customer quality requirements.
Collect, analyzes, and monitors quality data for reporting purposes, delineating between component and process issues.
Interfaces with functional owners on internal quality issues and with customers on customer-related issues.
Recommends and facilitates preventive / corrective action as needed.
As required, participates in internal auditing responsibilities (e.g. ISO9001, ESD compliance)
Prepare FAI for all new products
Monitoring the entire productions cycle and reporting on malfunctions
Statistical analysis of manufacturing data and creation of reports for senior staff member based on quality documentation.
Creation of quality documentation and development of SOOs for their facility and products in line with industry standards
Maintaining accurate quality documentation
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 – $68,000.00 per year
