Role Description The Quality Control Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Constanţa, Romania. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality control processes and procedures across relevant projects and operations. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and conducting inspections, audits, and tests; documenting findings; and ensuring compliance with internal standards, client requirements, and applicable regulations. The Quality Control Manager will collaborate with project managers, operational teams, and external stakeholders to address non-conformities, drive corrective and preventive actions, and support continuous improvement initiatives. The role also involves preparing quality reports, training team members on quality standards, and contributing to risk management and performance optimization for projects.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong quality management and control skills, including familiarity with quality standards, inspection methodologies, and continuous improvement practices.
- Candidates should possess skills in documentation, reporting, and data analysis to track quality performance, identify trends, and support decision-making.
- Candidates should possess project coordination and organizational skills to manage multiple quality activities, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Candidates should possess communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, clients, and vendors, and to present quality findings clearly.
- Candidates should possess problem-solving and analytical skills to investigate issues, develop corrective actions, and reduce recurring non-conformities.
- Relevant experience in quality control or quality assurance within engineering, construction, logistics, facility management, or related fields is highly beneficial.
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality management, business, or a related discipline is preferred, or equivalent practical experience in similar roles.
- Experience working in international or complex operational environments and familiarity with ISO or comparable quality standards are considered an advantage.
- Proficiency in English, with additional language skills being beneficial for coordination in multinational settings.
