The Quality Control Manager (QCM) provides leadership, coordination, guidance, and technical expertise in all areas of quality assurance and control. The QCM is responsible for the overall daily operations of quality management on projects, developing and implementing quality policies, procedures, and initiatives to ensure consistent adherence to quality standards. The role involves collaboration with project teams, subcontractors, and external stakeholders to promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
In-depth knowledge of Construction Standards and Best Practices
Working knowledge of the International Building Code and experience with diverse project types
Ability to delegate tasks and supervise performance effectively
Excellent analytical and organizational skills
Proficiency in Procore, Viewpoint, SharePoint, MS Office
Associate or bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
Minimum of 6 years of construction experience as a Quality Control Manager

Job Duties:
Collaborate with Project Managers, Superintendents, and subcontractors to develop processes that ensure 100% compliance and exceed expectations
Maintain active relationships with engineers, consultants, and industry associations
Assist in developing project-specific Quality Management Plans and monitor their implementation
Conduct site visits, inspections, and reviews of project work
Provide training and coaching to project team members on quality standards and risk management
Ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and standards through review and interpretation of drawings and documents
Lead and document quality inspections, meetings, and reporting activities
Coordinate with the Quality and Construction Science Department to leverage technological advancements for operational excellence
Identify, document, and resolve quality deficiencies promptly
