A national general contractor with a dominant presence in mission critical construction is seeking a Quality Control (QC) Manager to oversee delivery of hyperscale data center projects across the U.S. You’ll ensure all construction activities meet the highest standards for safety, compliance, and performance—serving as a key point of accountability for field-level quality execution and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and manage the site-specific Quality Control Plan from groundbreaking through commissioning
Perform routine inspections and tests to verify compliance with contract documents, specifications, and applicable codes
Collaborate with field teams, engineers, vendors, and commissioning authorities to ensure quality benchmarks are achieved
Lead preparatory, initial, and follow-up inspections in accordance with industry-standard QA/QC practices
Maintain and review quality-related records, including submittals, RFIs, punch lists, inspection reports, and test results
Identify non-conformances, lead resolution processes, and implement corrective action strategies
Support client walkthroughs, third-party inspections, and final turnover processes
Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in quality control or field supervision for commercial or industrial construction
Prior experience supporting at least one hyperscale or mission critical project, preferably from start to finish
Strong working knowledge of MEP systems, structural components, and envelope installation
Familiarity with commissioning protocols, system testing, and turnover procedures
Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, and QA/QC documentation platforms
Ability to travel and support projects across multiple states – rotation or project-assignment model
