Shift:
Sunday-Thursday
11:00pm- 7:00am
You will supervise, instruct, coach, and support those responsible to inspect/qualify all manufactured and processed product. This requires an advanced understanding of inspection methods, customer and internal quality requirements, and a basic working knowledge of AS9100. Also, a complete understanding and working knowledge of Mayday’s internal practices and department functions and responsibilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform leadership functions regarding inspection, calibration, and source inspection
Performs various tracking of metrics and projects
Train QC Inspectors on pre-processing inspection of manufactured parts and QC final product acceptance
Holds employees accountable to rules, policies, procedures, and metrics
Serves as the technical lead as needed
Directs the day-to-day activity including work schedules, workflow, work assignments, etc.
Responsible for employee staffing and onboarding
Responsible for employee development including promotions, compensation, training, feedback, evaluations, etc.
Delegates work effectively and as needed
Facilitates an efficient and effective handoff between shifts
Effectively communicates all scheduling needs and pertinent business information to employees
Effectively communicates all pertinent information to management
Serves as the liaison between departments
Oversees compliance (safety, quality, company) and housekeeping
Helps to ensure operators have all the necessary tools and support
Actively looks for and recommends continuous improvement opportunities
Adhere to company Quality and Safety standards, policies, and procedures at all times
Manages departmental data
