Position summary:
The Quality Control Manager oversees the entire Quality Control department while ensuring the company and products meet the threshold of acceptability through compliance, quality, and customer standards. The Quality Control Manager also controls maintenance of testing / measuring fixtures and equipment and inhouse / third-party calibration process.
Qualifications and skills:
1-3 years’ experience of quality inspection, and testing (required)
1+ years in a management/leadership role
Ability to gather and analyze data
Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service focus
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Positive leadership skills
Highly organized
Ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency reading complex engineering drawings, knowledge in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
Experience working with electrical and mechanical test equipment
Knowledge for process approach, risk management, continuous improvement and ISO 9001 quality management system
