Role Description The Quality Control Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Al Maḩallah al Kubrá. This role is responsible for overseeing quality control processes across production lines, including inspecting garments, monitoring compliance with quality standards, and identifying defects or deviations. The Quality Control Manager will develop and implement quality procedures, train and guide quality inspectors, and collaborate with production supervisors to address issues and prevent recurrence. The role involves maintaining documentation and reports, coordinating corrective and preventive actions, and supporting audits to ensure adherence to company and client requirements. The Quality Control Manager will also work closely with management to propose process improvements and support continuous enhancement of product quality and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in quality control or quality management within apparel or textile manufacturing.
- Strong skills in inspection, sampling, and testing of garments and materials to ensure compliance with standards.
- Ability to develop, implement, and maintain quality procedures, checklists, and documentation.
- Competence in data analysis, root cause analysis, and problem-solving to drive corrective and preventive actions.
- Effective communication and leadership skills for training, guiding, and supervising quality teams.
- Familiarity with production workflows, sewing processes, and garment construction is highly beneficial.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Proficiency with basic office software (e.g., spreadsheets, word processing) for reporting and record-keeping.
- Relevant technical or academic background in textiles, garment technology, industrial engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in managing client quality requirements and supporting internal or external audits is an advantage.
