Sipcam Agro Solutions, LLC. Is seeking a Quality Control Technician for our packaging lines. This position will be located at the Waynesboro, Ms. Facility.
Essential Functions:
· Perform regular quality assessments on all incoming materials from vendors and outgoing products for shipping.
· Reject all products and materials that fail to meet quality expectations.
· Document inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records.
· Closely partner with production team on quality control concerns to improve product excellence.
· Resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner.
· Complete special assignments as required/requested by management.
· Inspect and test a variety of products for quality assurance, ensuring compliance with company standards.
· Perform daily quality checks to ensure all products meet quality standards before being shipped.
Position Requirements:
· Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced work environment
· Ability to perform simple math functions
· Ability to read and interpret instructions on packaging
· Ability to keep working area clean and free from hazards
· Ability to be organized and work efficiently
· Must be able to attend orientation and training on 1st shift before transitioning to 2nd shift
· Ability and willingness to work overtime, including weekend hours
· Proficient in English language with reading, writing and speaking
· Ability to operate a forklift
Qualifications:
· Ability to pass a physical screen, respiratory screen, drug screen and background check if job offer is received and accepted
· Ability to use standard safety equipment and wear all required personal protective equipment (in extreme hot/cold environments)
Physical Demands:
· While performing the duties of this job the employee will be required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms, as well as lift up to 50 ibs.
· The work is typically performed in a non climate controlled environment. However, the employee will be asked to work in all types of temperatures and conditions.
