Knife River is hiring for a Quality Control Manager based out of our Western Montana Division.
Job Responsibilities will *****
Manage Quality Control Department including multiple remote mobile laboratories.
Responsibility for financial efficiency and performance of Quality Control Department in support of all operations (Aggregates,
Redi-Mix, Asphalt, and Construction).
Work amongst industry peers through trade associations on Quality Related issues.
Develop Quality Control Cost Estimates for Estimating Department on projects.
Develop and implement Quality Control practices and procedures
Ensure all work is in conformance with the contractual requirements
Verify all material incorporated into the project conforms to all submittals, project specifications and drawings
Understand and execute the required testing procedures in conformance with the contract documents and industry standards
Create/Prepare outgoing correspondence to the clients, subcontractors, and other outside entities, ensuring accuracy, quality
and professionalism of work.
Monitor, document and track Quality Control documents including but not limited to Quality Control Plans, Daily Reports, Testing
Reports and Inspection Reports
Review all special inspection and material testing performed by third parties
Minimum *****
Bachelors degree is highly desired.
Experience with estimating and costing programs. (HCSS/Heavy Job/B.I.)
OSHA 30 preferred
