About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud QA Engineer or Application Support Engineer with a strong testing background and expertise in PaaS, Java-based applications, Linux, and Cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have exceptional debugging skills, the ability to analyze logs, identify issues, and work closely with developers to resolve problems efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
=Conduct functional, integration, and performance testing for Java-based applications on PaaS platforms.
=Analyze application logs (Splunk, ELK, CloudWatch) to detect errors and troubleshoot issues.
=Work with Linux-based systems to diagnose performance and deployment issues.
=Collaborate with developers and DevOps teams to provide solutions and ensure smooth application performance.
=Implement and maintain automation frameworks for testing cloud-based applications.
=Recommend improvements and optimizations for application stability and performance.
=Ensure adherence to best testing practices, security, and compliance standards.
Required Skills & Experience:
100% REMOTE
✔ 7+ years of experience in software testing (manual & automation).
✔ Strong knowledge of PaaS platforms (AWS Elastic Beanstalk, Google App Engine, Azure App Services, OpenShift).
✔ Expertise in Java-based applications and microservices architecture.
✔ Proficiency in Linux environment and troubleshooting.
✔ Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
✔ Strong experience in log analysis and debugging tools (Splunk, ELK, CloudWatch).
✔ Experience with automation tools (Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cypress, or similar).
✔ Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment testing.
✔ Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

âž• Knowledge of Networking & Security in cloud environments.
âž• Familiarity with scripting (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55.00 – $60.00 per hour
Schedule:
8 hour shift
