A Day in the Life:
- Serve as the Quality Management Representative (QMR), ensuring the Quality Management System (QMS) is effectively implemented, maintained, and continuously improved
- Define, deploy, monitor, and manage QMS processes while partnering with departments across the organization to ensure compliance and effectiveness
- Lead internal audits and prepare for customer, regulatory, and certification audits
- Ensure compliance with AS9100D, ISO 13485, and other applicable quality and regulatory standards
- Develop, maintain, and control quality manuals, procedures, records, and supporting documentation
- Analyze quality metrics, audit findings, production data, and customer feedback to identify improvement opportunities
- Present quality performance reports, audit results, and corrective action recommendations to senior leadership
- Lead corrective and preventive action (CAPA) initiatives and root cause investigations
- Oversee inspection activities for incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products
- Monitor the effectiveness of quality control systems and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and product quality
- Generate and review reports related to nonconformances, production quality, root cause analyses, and quality trends
- Manage, coach, schedule, and develop quality department personnel
- Train employees on quality standards, procedures, regulatory requirements, and quality assurance best practices
- Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, purchasing, and other departments to resolve quality concerns and improve processes
- Stay current on industry standards, regulatory requirements, emerging technologies, and quality management best practices
- Ensure adherence to OSHA safety requirements and company safety procedures
- Support production teams during peak periods to help achieve customer delivery commitments
- Perform other related duties as assigned

Required
Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
- 5–8 years of quality management or related manufacturing quality experience preferred
- 3–5 years of supervisory or team leadership experience preferred
- Experience implementing and managing Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- Working knowledge of AS9100D, ISO 13485, and quality auditing principles
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root cause investigation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Proficiency in quality reporting, data analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Commitment to workplace safety and regulatory compliance
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to see and hear effectively, including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
- Ability to frequently stand, walk, move throughout the facility, and perform inspections
- Frequent use of hands for handling, reaching, and operating equipment and inspection tools
- Ability to maintain focus while reviewing detailed documentation and quality records
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
