We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control (QC) Officer to join our team at the BNG Annex site @ Gerehu. The ideal candidates will be responsible for monitoring, verifying, and ensuring that products and processes meet the required food safety and quality standards in compliance with ISO and HACCP requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct monitoring of all product quality checks
- Monitor hygiene and sanitation compliance in all operational areas
- Ensure proper implementation of food safety procedures and documentation – including GMP / GWP, pest control, traceability, etc.
- Report and follow up on non-conformances
- Support internal and external audits, inspections, and corrective actions
- Assist in training and raising awareness of quality standards and procedures
Requirements:
Certificate or Diploma in Food Technology, Science, or a related field
At least 1–2 years of QC or QA experience in a food manufacturing, or warehousing environment
Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and ISO standards
Strong attention to detail and good documentation skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
Willing to work flexible hours or shifts as required
