Position Summary
The Quality Control (QC) Supervisor leads the quality assurance function within our Distribution Center by overseeing quality inspections that ensure inventory accuracy and outbound order quality. This role supervises Quality Assurance Associates responsible for verifying put-away accuracy, inspecting outbound shipments, and identifying opportunities to improve warehouse processes.
Working closely with Inventory Control, Receiving, and Warehouse Operations, the QC Supervisor helps maintain inventory integrity, reduce shipping errors, improve customer satisfaction, and promote a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do
As the Quality Control Supervisor, you will lead the warehouse quality program by ensuring products are stored accurately, customer orders meet company quality standards, and quality processes are consistently followed throughout daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, schedule, coach, and develop Quality Assurance Associates responsible for warehouse inspections.
- Oversee daily quality audits of put-away transactions to verify products are stored in the correct warehouse locations.
- Ensure all put-away inspections are completed accurately and documented in accordance with company procedures.
- Lead outbound quality inspections to verify orders are accurate, complete, properly packaged, and free of damage prior to shipment.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies, quality concerns, and shipping errors while partnering with Inventory Control and warehouse leadership to resolve issues quickly.
- Review inspection documentation and maintain accurate quality records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Analyze quality trends and prepare reports to identify opportunities for operational improvement.
- Collaborate with Receiving, Inventory Control, Transportation, and Warehouse Operations to improve inventory accuracy and shipment quality.
- Ensure quality holds are resolved efficiently without unnecessary delays to customer orders.
- Monitor team performance by providing coaching, training, and regular performance feedback.
- Promote compliance with company policies, quality standards, and workplace safety procedures.
- Recommend process improvements that increase efficiency, reduce errors, and improve customer satisfaction.
- Assist with additional warehouse leadership responsibilities and special projects as assigned.
What You Bring
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree or technical certification in Quality, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in quality control, warehouse operations, inventory control, or distribution.
- At least 1 year of supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
- Experience working in a warehouse, distribution center, manufacturing, or logistics environment.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify product defects, inventory discrepancies, and process issues.
- Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems, or inventory software.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working throughout a warehouse environment and collaborating with multiple departments.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the workday.
- Experience with flooring, tile, hardwood, stone, LVP, or other building materials is preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

- Employment is contingent upon successfully meeting all pre-employment screening requirements.
